MapSongs is free and always will be. What it costs is my time.
Figuring out how a song should look on a screen so you can see its shape at a glance. Testing it at the piano with a tablet on the music stand. Rebuilding the parts that didn't work there.
Most of that is design, not code. You try something, get it almost right, then do it again until it feels obvious. AI helps me write the code and I pay for that myself, but the design calls are mine.
Hosting is free. The hours aren't.
There's nothing behind a paywall, and there are no plans to put anything there. Chipping in buys you no features, no tier, no badge. It just means the next phase gets built sooner.
